Romer A Palmar had a long marine career at the great oil company Shell, sailing several of its vessels for almost 20 years, reaching the position of Master Captain. After many years at sea, Capt. Palmar continues his career onshore as an Operator in one of Shell’s Subsidiaries in Latin America. Then, under the petition of the management to keep attending and operating their vessels, they asked him to outsource their department taking all the people under his supervision to independence. This way, Capt. Romer becomes the founder of one of the first maritime agency in the oil industry in Latin America in 1969. Starts his career as an entrepreneur and businessman, leading him to established Lagomar Shipping in 1985. His culture, knowledge, and different perspectives acquired through many years of experience in operations and logistics of oil vessels, have transcended over the years and generations, taking Lagomar to be a recognized and trusted Agency with a strong background and support in the industry.
